Retail websites
Help customers find you before they get in the car.
Plenty of shops don't need to sell online at all. What they need is to be easy to find, to look open, and to answer the three things every customer wonders before driving over: are you nearby, are you open now, and do you have the thing.
We've built websites for a phone store, a retail shop and a retail storefront. None of them needed a full online store to be worth the money — they needed to turn up in search, load quickly on a phone, and make it obvious how to get hold of someone.
What a shop really needs online
Trading hours, address and directions that are impossible to miss
Google Business and local search set up properly, so you show up nearby
Product or range pages, without the overhead of a full online store
WhatsApp enquiries built in, because that's how customers prefer to message
Pages that load quickly on a phone, on data, standing outside your shop
Room to add proper online selling later, if it ever makes sense
How it works
Questions we're often asked
- Do I need an online store, or just a website?
- Very often just a website. If you're not shipping products, a store adds cost and admin for little return, and we'll say so. A site that brings people through your door is usually the better spend — and you can always add selling later.
- Have you built for retailers before?
- Yes — a phone store website, a retail shop website and a retail storefront, all on the work page.
- What does it cost?
- From R2,000 once-off, or R199/month fully managed. For a single shop, the monthly option usually works out easiest: hosting, updates and support are bundled together, so it's one predictable amount rather than occasional invoices.
- Will customers find me when they search nearby?
- That's the job. We build the pages properly and set up the local search basics that decide whether you appear when somebody nearby searches for what you sell.
